Bed - LIMchengunitec

Refer to the supporting timber, which is joined across the floor, found in the interior frame of a boat used to hold the engine or tanks in place. This acts as a normal "bed" to hold the weight of the engine and tanks as well as the secure them while the boat is in movement. Beds are usually found in the for/bow and aft/stern parts of the boat to maximise the usage of the interior space of the boat.
